1995 Spring Mountain, Cabernet Sauvignon (Magnum) ($100)Rating: B

Smells of burnt cherries, big chewy tannins and a decent finish. Surprisingly good for a 12 year old wine. Limited fruit left - mostly tannins now, may improve in time or tannins may fade out.
1999 Spring Mountain, Cabernet Sauvignon ($50)Rating: B

Nicely aged, good structure with a nice but not big finish
2002 Max Cuvee ($36)Rating: A-B

When Sue says "That's different" - it is normally not a good thing. This wine had a wierd smell and an odd unplacable aftertaste. It seems like their Zinfandel and Syrah experiment was a bust. Was looking forward to tasting this wines and this is the only one available on the day.
2003 Spring Mountain, Cabernet Sauvignon ($50)Rating: A-B

Whoa, black cherry bam a lam, big black cherry bam a lam.. Way too much cherry on the nose - did not like the nose or the taste on this one.
