June 2010: We visited Guilliams again as we were at an Open House in Keenan. Guilliams is a really great place to visit. The wines (particularly the Cabs) are very good and the service is excellent. Ask for Shawn or John. Highly recommended. Feb 2006: This is a very low production winery on Spring Mountain Road with some famous (i.e. very expensive) neighbors. They concentrate on producing a good quality Cabernet and do an excellent job of it. The winery itself is tiny - it is underneath the owners house, so make sure to call for an appointment in advance or you might be disappointed. We knocked on the front door of the house and were brought down to the winery for a tasting of their excellent wines. The service is also very good. Definitely very low key compared to the big wineries along Hwy 29 in Napa. Recommended.

1% Merlot, 3% Cab Franc. 2 years in a barrel. Very dark with a big finish. Very nice wine. Excellent value. Tried again April 2008 and is drinking really well. Excellent structure, wine has balanced out with the extra time in the bottle. Want to buy more!!!

Winner of the night at a Spring Mountain tasting night. Smells like a cab, taste like a cab - it is a cab. Very well balanced, good structure, medium long finish. Easy to drink now and for years to come.

Very nice Cab. Bigger and deeper than the 2006. More structure with long tannins. This wine needs time. Will only improve

We found the Merlot very fruity. It is produced with leftover fruit so has a low production

Light, easy drinker with medium finish - prefer the Cabs.
